Plan your legacy: Gifts from a will or trust with thanks to Lon and Ranita McMurtrey
While many may wonder how they will make a lasting impact on their community, Lon and Ranita McMurtrey already have their answer to that question. After meeting with their financial advisors, the McMurtreys made the generous decision to include a gift to the IU Health Foundation in their estate plan.
The McMurtreys made a gift to the Olcott Center at IU Health Bloomington in support of the “Area of Greatest Need” fund. Instead of making a specific gift designation, Lon and Ranita want to equip the Olcott Center with the flexibility to fund whatever they may need in the future. They appreciate the benefits of making their gift and commented that it was easy to arrange and will not alter their current lifestyle. Their gift can also be easily modified to address their changing needs.
